Tangerine has announced the launch of #Tangerine20, a national contest that calls on Canadians to nominate a community initiative for a chance to win one of five cash prizes, including a grand prize of $20,000. This contest underline’s the direct bank’s 20^th anniversary.

"For 20 years, we've helped empower Canadians to achieve their financial goals by earning more, saving more and keeping more of their money," said Amy Cole, Vice President Corporate Affairs at Tangerine. "To celebrate our anniversary, we're combining that commitment to Canadians with our BrightWayForward program to help a community initiative, like refurbishing a playground or planting a local green space, reach its fundraising goal a bit sooner."

Nominate an initiative

From now until June 16, 2017, Canadians can nominate an initiative in their community for a chance to win one of the #Tangerine20 prizes by visiting Tangerine20.ca. Entries are being accepted for the following prizes: $20,000, $10,000, $5,000 (x2), and $2,000. Tangerine will announce the top 20 finalists on July 6, when Canadians can begin voting for their favourite initiative at tangerine.ca/tangerine20. The five #Tangerine20 winners will be announced on August 9, 2017 on Tangerine's Facebook page.
