Sun Life Investment Management expands Canadian distribution team

Sun Life Institutional Investments (Canada) Inc., a Sun Life Investment Management company, announced Oct. 31 the appointment of two new members to its distribution team and one promotion.

"We are pleased to welcome Sean Sirois and Stian G. Andersen to Sun Life Investment Management," said Carl S. Bang, President, Sun Life Institutional Investments (Canada) Inc. "We are also proud to announce the promotion of Andrew Post to the role of Director of Institutional Sales. Sean, Stian and Andrew each bring a deep understanding of investment management and the client service experience, complementing our existing team."

33 years of experience in capital markets

Sean Sirois, has been appointed Head of Business Development, Quebec and Eastern Canada. He will be based in Sun Life Investment Management's Montreal office. Sirois has more than 33 years of experience in capital markets, banking and investments. Most recently, he was Vice-President of Business Development at IPSOL Capital.

Andrew Post is now Director, Institutional Sales, Central Canada. He is based in Sun Life Investment Management's Toronto office. Post joined Sun Life Investment Management in 2015 as an Institutional Sales Associate. Prior to this, he held various roles with Sun Life Global Investments. 

Local expertise and global capabilities

Stian G. Andersen, has been appointed Head of Business Development, Western Canada. He is based in Calgary. Prior to assuming this position, Andersen was Director, Institutional Business Development and Client Relationships for Sun Life Global Investments.
