Robo-advisor firm Wealthsimple has launched a new web site and is now offering premium services to clients who invest at least $100,000 on its platform.

While the Wealthsimple Basic plan comes with a 0.5% management fee, the new Wealthsimple Black pricing tier offers a lower management fee of 0.4% to those with assets between $100,000 and $250,000. Wealthsimple Black clients are being given free access to one-on-one, goal-based financial planning sessions with an advisor, tax-loss harvesting, and tax-efficient accounts. To top it off, the robo-advisor is providing VIP Priority Pass access over a thousand airline lounges around the world for the Wealthsimple Black client and a guest.

"The new pricing structure is part of a complete website redesign, designed to make investing with Wealthsimple more straightforward, transparent and intuitive," says the company.

As we reported earlier Power Financial Corporation, the parent company of Great-West Life, London Life, and Canada Life, has a $10 million stake in Wealthsimple.
