The Canadian arm of the North American investment dealer Raymond James Financial has hired Tom Williams to be senior vice president, head of growth and development. He will lead the firm's advisor recruitment efforts.

Williams has more than twenty years of experience in the industry and has worked at Macquarie, CIBC, and most recently at Richardson GMP where he was division director, regional manager for eastern Canada.

"Tom has earned an impeccable reputation among financial advisors for his leadership, integrity and ability to cement strong and enduring relationships," says Terry Hetherington, executive vice president and head of the firm's private client group. "We are confident he will be an impact player who will build on our successful record of attracting high quality financial advisors to Raymond James."
