The Financial Planning Standards Council is now accepting nominations for the Fellow of FPSC distinction. This award recognizes individuals who have made a significant contribution to the financial planning profession in Canada.
Instilling confidence in financial planning
Recipients of the distinction must have volunteered or done a related activity with FPSC “that is directly related to advancing FPSC’s purpose of driving value and instilling confidence in financial planning” and they must contribute to the advancement of CFP professional standards “by leading or inspiring the development, acceptance or adoption of the standards in order to further the public interest and enhance the reputation of the designation,” says the FPSC.
