Mark Hanna has been appointed to serve as the 91st President of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT).

On September 1st, MDRT announced that Mark Hanna of Concord, California, will become the organisation's new leader, succeeding 28-year member Brian D. Heckert of Nashville, Illinois who will become the Immediate Past President.

Hanna has been a member of MDRT for 27 years, with three Court of the Table and 17 Top of the Table qualifications. He served as 2007 Chair of Top of the Table. He is also a Royal Order Excalibur Knight of the MDRT Foundation and one of its Inner Circle Society donors.

In his new role, MDRT says Hanna will work closely with the executive committee to maintain the association’s membership, professional, and ethical standards, as well as provide a mix of networking and resources to help members broaden their expertise, grow their businesses, and educate clients about the importance of financial planning.

“Delivering a level of inspiration and educational opportunities unmatched in the profession, MDRT has helped me emerge as a leader, strengthened my credibility and confidence among my clients and positioned me to achieve career success in the financial services profession,” says Hanna. “I remain thankful and humbled by the continued support I have received from MDRT and look forward to beginning my term as president.”

In addition, Regina Bedoya of Juno Beach, Florida was named as Secretary of the MDRT's executive committee while James Pittman, a 42-year member from Portland, Oregon, will serve as First Vice President and Ross Vanderwolf, a 29-year member from Fortitude Valley, Australia, will serve as Second Vice President.
