Humania Assurance has just signed an agreement to offer and design products with insuranceforchildren.ca.

The insurer announced on last week that the MGA, which specializes in helping parents and grandparents obtain coverage for children, will begin distributing Humania's products both over the Internet and through advisors. Humania says the deal is part of its focus on building its reach and online presence across Canada, and offering more to families who want to protect the financial future of their children.

As part of the agreement the two companies will also work together to design a range of children's insurance products to be marketed under Child Plan, which insuranceforchildren's proprietary brand. Humania already has a product, namely its Children360 critical illness plan, which caters to this market.

"We are excited about our partnership with Humania Assurance creators of Children360. We view Humania as a forward thinking innovator of insurance products geared towards meeting the unique financial challenges and goals of today's millennial families and their children," says Michael Lampel, president of insuranceforchildren. "As their MGA, insuranceforchildren will be able to provide millennial families with a full range of proprietary children's insurance, education savings and investment products designed for children's category."
