Interest rates have made another victim: Foresters’ Term 100 insurance product (T100). The company is pulling its T100 from the shelf on May 1.
Foresters says sustained, historically low interest rates are to blame. The company says that this situation diminishes the product’s viability. Rather than increase the pricing to an unrealistic level, the company prefers to withdraw the product.
