Eric Stevenson has joined the law firm Lavery, as a partner, within its business law group. Stevenson is the former superintendent, client services and distribution oversight, for Quebec’s financial sector regulator, the AMF. Stevenson will be based in Quebec City.

For Stevenson, this is a return to his roots, since he previously worked for the firm before joining the AMF. "It was an obvious choice for me, since the firm has an excellent reputation and is recognized for the excellence of its integrated service offering by all stakeholders in the financial sector," said Stevenson.

Financial sector clientele

Anik Trudel, Lavery's Chief Executive Officer, says that Stevenson's expertise enhances the quality and depth of Lavery's consulting and representation services, particularly for its financial institution clientele and other players in the financial sector.
